Custom Office Signs in Houston
Whether you are opening a new office or updating one that no longer reflects your business, choosing the right signs should not require you to become a signage expert. We have been planning, producing, and installing office signs for Houston businesses since 2004.
Most offices do not need a single sign. They need a coordinated signage package. With one point of contact, we handle the site survey and sign schedule, design and renderings, shop drawings for your architect or GC, production, and installation scheduled around your buildout or business hours.
Send us your floor plan, and we will come back with a sign schedule and budget range. Or scroll down to explore recent Houston office signage projects.

Planned Around How Your Office Works
Before recommending sign types, we walk the space or work from your floor plan to create a sign schedule that identifies each location, message, and sign type. It clarifies what belongs at the suite entry, which permanent rooms require ADA-compliant tactile signs, where wayfinding can reduce confusion for visitors, and where wall graphics best support the space.
You get the schedule and a budget range before anything goes into design. For architect- or GC-led projects, we issue it in a format your team can review alongside the rest of the submittal package.
One Team From Planning Through Closeout
Once the scope is set, the same team carries your custom office signs through design, production, and installation. That includes:
Renderings and shop drawings for your review or your architect and GC’s approval
One sign schedule covering lobby signage, room identification, directories, and wayfinding
Materials, finishes, production, and revisions managed by our team
Required COI, W-9, and building-access requirements completed before installation
Installation sequenced around your CO date, punch walk, or business hours
Most of the schedule trouble we see comes from signage being ordered as a finish item three weeks before move-in. For projects with a fixed opening date, bringing us in during the buildout gives design, production, and installation time to move with the rest of the project instead of chasing it.
DIFFERENT TYPES OF OFFICE SIGNS

Interior lighted signs are a strong fit for reception areas, office lobbies, and other client-facing spaces where the brand needs to remain visible and make an immediate impression. A halo-lit or backlit logo can create a defined focal point behind the reception desk, adding depth and visibility without overwhelming the surrounding design. They work especially well in offices with lower ambient lighting.
We plan the sign around its location, viewing distance, wall surface, available power, and nearby reception elements so it feels built into the space from the start. In a lobby, illuminated signage can serve as the main visual anchor behind the reception desk. In conference rooms and shared spaces, it can create an intentional branded backdrop for meetings and video calls. The goal is not simply to add lighting, but to make the sign feel like part of the office rather than an afterthought.
BACKPLATED LOGO SIGNS
Backplated logo signs are a strong choice for reception areas, office lobbies, and other client-facing walls where the brand needs a more defined, finished presence. The backing panel gives the logo a clear visual boundary, so it reads as one intentional feature rather than separate letters mounted directly to the surface. They can also serve as a second branded feature within a reception area, alongside the primary sign behind the desk.
Panels can be made from acrylic, aluminum, or ACM, depending on the desired finish and overall office design. They are typically 1/8 to 1/4 inch deep, with the logo mounted to the face or layered for additional dimension. We coordinate the panel size, logo scale, colors, finish, and mounting around the wall and surrounding interior so the sign feels built into the space.
3D LETTERS & LOGOS
3D letters and logos give office branding physical depth, making them a strong fit for reception walls, conference rooms, and other client-facing spaces where a flat graphic would not carry the same presence. They are often used as the main brand feature behind a reception desk or as a permanent logo element within the office.
Painted acrylic letters work well when the design needs to match specific brand colors and keep a clean, modern look. Metal letters are the stronger choice when the logo is meant to have a polished, shiny metallic appearance that adds a more refined finish to the space. We select the material, depth, finish, and mounting approach based on the wall surface, viewing distance, lighting, and how the logo fits into the rest of the office signage package.
ACRYLIC PRINTS & VISUAL DISPLAYS
Acrylic prints give offices a clean, finished way to bring branded imagery, company history, or project visuals into the space. They work especially well in conference rooms, hallways, shared spaces, and employee areas where a bare wall needs more purpose without becoming a full wall graphic.
We plan the image selection, scale, placement, and layout around how the area is used and viewed. A conference room may call for project imagery or a brand statement that creates a stronger meeting backdrop, while a hallway can use a series of prints to carry the visual identity through the office. Acrylic prints also work well in recognition areas, where photos, milestones, or company history need a more permanent presentation.
GLASS SIGNS
Glass signs are a refined option for office lobbies, reception areas, and other branded spaces where a company logo needs to stand out without making the wall feel heavy. The clear glass keeps the feature visually light, while its reflective surface adds a polished finish.
These signs commonly use painted acrylic letters installed on the glass or vinyl graphics applied directly to it. They are often mounted with standoffs to create separation from the wall and add depth, and a backing film can create a more solid appearance when transparency is not the right fit. Before production, we confirm the panel size, logo scale, mounting method, wall conditions, and viewing distance so the finished sign fits the space and reads clearly from where visitors will see it.
WALL COVERINGS & VINYL WALL WRAP
Vinyl wall wraps turn large, underused wall surfaces into a branded part of the office. They work well in lobbies, conference rooms, hallways, shared spaces, and culture areas where a company wants to carry its identity through the space. They can display a company timeline, highlight completed projects, share meaningful quotes, or create a stronger branded environment.
We recommend the vinyl material based on the wall surface, desired finish, expected lifespan, and whether the graphic may need to change in the future. Before production, we confirm the wall condition, dimensions, artwork scale, seams, lighting, and any doors, outlets, or fixtures that affect the layout. Most wall-wrap projects are completed within 1–3 weeks once artwork is approved, though larger or more detailed installations may require additional coordination. This helps the finished wall covering read as one intentional feature, not simply artwork placed on an empty wall.
WINDOW GRAPHICS
Window graphics turn existing glass into a branded and functional part of the office. They can display a logo, business information, branded messaging, or a custom design on entry doors, reception windows, interior glass walls, and conference-room glass. They are also an effective privacy solution for meeting rooms and offices, helping reduce visibility into the space while still allowing natural light to pass through. Privacy film can be designed as a subtle frosted treatment, a patterned feature, or a branded graphic that supports the rest of the office.
Before production, we confirm the glass layout, viewing direction, artwork scale, privacy level, lighting, and any door hardware or frames that affect the design. This ensures the graphic provides the right balance of visibility, privacy, and branding within the surrounding office environment.
STANDARD ADA SIGNS
ADA signs identify permanent rooms throughout an office, including restrooms, conference rooms, offices, utility rooms, and other fixed-use spaces. They use raised tactile characters, Grade 2 Braille, and non-glare finishes to provide accessible room identification while remaining consistent with the office’s overall design.
Because these signs are often reviewed during inspection, we coordinate the room names and numbers against the floor plan before production. We also confirm sign locations, mounting conditions, finishes, and latch-side placement within the required 48-to-60-inch range. For Texas projects, we account for both the 2010 ADA Standards and Texas Accessibility Standards during planning so compliance is built into the signage package, not added after production. Typical lead time is 2–3 weeks once artwork and room information are approved.
Materials, Style, and Budget
Material and style decisions affect both the appearance of your office and the overall project budget. Our team evaluates where each piece will be installed, how far away it will be viewed, the available lighting, and the role it needs to play in the space.
Metal letters, backplated logos, and illuminated signs may require a higher investment when the design includes layering, custom finishes, lighting components, or more involved installation. Simpler dimensional acrylic letters can be a more cost-conscious option for a clean lobby sign.
Before fabrication begins, we walk through material, construction, and cost tradeoffs with you so you can review and approve the direction that fits your space, brand, and budget. This helps direct the investment toward the areas where visibility and brand impact matter most.
Multi-Location and Multi-Floor Signage Rollouts
For organizations with multiple offices, we coordinate interior office signage around the same brand standards at every location. That can include lobby signage, reception signs, ADA room identification, directories, and wayfinding, with placement, mounting details, and quantities adjusted to each office’s layout. This gives multi-location teams a consistent office experience without treating every site as an identical rollout.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
Most office signage projects are completed within 1 to 3 weeks, depending on the job scope. Some office wall graphic projects can be completed in as little as two business days once artwork is approved.
Projects involving more sign locations, specialty materials, custom fabrication, or detailed installation requirements may require additional production time. If you are working toward a tighter deadline, we can review expedited options during planning.
Before confirming the schedule, we review:
Approved artwork and fabrication requirements
Number of signs and sign locations
Site measurements and mounting conditions
Building access and installation restrictions
Whether installation needs to be completed in phases
For a complete rollout, we coordinate lobby branding, room identification, directories, and wayfinding as one installation plan, so your team is not managing multiple sign types and vendors separately.

Office signs that identify permanent rooms or spaces generally need tactile characters and Braille. The deciding factor is whether the room’s designation is expected to remain the same over time, not simply whether the sign is indoors.
This commonly includes:
Restroom signs
Permanent room names, such as conference rooms, offices, and utility rooms
Room and floor numbers
Stairway floor-designation signs
Other fixed-use spaces requiring tactile identification
Tactile signs must also meet placement requirements. At single doors, they are generally mounted on the latch side, with raised characters and Braille positioned within the required 48 to 60 inch mounting range.
Directories, directional signs, temporary notices, employee nameplates, and lobby logos are treated differently because their information may change. They typically need to meet visual requirements, such as readable character size, contrast, and appropriate placement, but do not generally require Braille or raised characters.
During planning, we review the floor plan and sign schedule before artwork is approved to separate permanent room identification from visual wayfinding and branded elements. For Houston and Texas projects, we also account for applicable Texas accessibility requirements as part of that review, so compliance is considered before fabrication begins instead of becoming a late project change.

Yes. We create a digital rendering for every project and work from your brand guidelines, logo files, approved fonts, and color information, such as Pantone, CMYK, RGB, or HEX codes.
Before fabrication begins, we review:
Logo files and approved fonts
Brand color codes and reference materials
Selected materials and finishes
Lighting conditions at the installation location
Whether the signage will be illuminated
Color can appear slightly different across painted metal, vinyl, acrylic, and illuminated signage because each material and finish reflects or diffuses light differently. For illuminated signs, we also review how the color will appear when lit, not only during the day.
When a project requires additional verification, we can conduct internal physical material testing before full production. This allows us to review the color on the selected material and finish, helping confirm the intended result before the complete signage package is produced.
-
Yes. When building access and project requirements allow, we can schedule installation outside normal business hours and adjust the plan around your office’s operations. This may include phasing the work, prioritizing areas that need to remain open, or coordinating around property-management requirements.
Before setting the installation schedule, we coordinate:
Approved work hours, access procedures, and security requirements
Areas that must remain open for employees or visitors
Property-management restrictions and building rules
Installation sequencing across lobby branding, room identification, directories, and wayfinding signage
Any phased work needed to keep the office operating normally
We build the installation plan around how your office functions, so your team is not left adjusting daily operations around the work.

A new office or renovation should be planned as a complete signage system, not a collection of individual signs. The right mix depends on visitor flow, brand goals, daily operations, and which spaces need clear identification or ADA-compliant room signs.
We typically plan signage by area and what each space needs to accomplish:
Lobby and reception: Create a strong first impression and make check-in clear for visitors. For a more established, finished look, we often recommend a dimensional, backplated, or illuminated logo sign rather than a flat wall graphic.
Conference rooms: Build a professional environment for client meetings, presentations, and video calls. Acrylic prints and vinyl wall graphics can carry brand messaging or project imagery, while an acrylic logo sign can create a clean branded backdrop.
Hallways and shared spaces: Extend branding without making the office feel overdesigned. Acrylic prints can carry the visual identity through the space, and wall graphics can be used where there is a clear story, message, or navigation need.
Offices and permanent rooms: Make fixed-use spaces easy to identify for employees and visitors. This includes conference rooms, offices, restrooms, utility rooms, and other locations that may require ADA-compliant tactile signs.
Wayfinding and directories: Help visitors reach the right department, suite, floor, or room without needing assistance. This becomes especially important in multi-floor offices, multi-tenant buildings, and offices with several departments.
Employee and culture areas: Use recognition walls, displays, and branded graphics to highlight company history, milestones, donors, or the people behind the organization.
Before fabrication begins, we review your floor plan, visitor flow, branding goals, and required sign locations together. This lets us coordinate the full office signage package before the space is complete, rather than adding signs one area at a time afterward.

Yes. We can coordinate indoor digital signage displays as part of a larger interior signage project, from selecting the right location and mounting approach to integrating the display with the surrounding space.
A digital display is most useful when the information needs to change regularly, such as company announcements, visitor information, or updates in a corporate lobby. If the information will remain the same long term, a static directory or wall sign may be the more practical option.
Before installation, we review the intended audience, viewing distance, wall conditions, mounting requirements, and available power or data access. Your team manages the day-to-day content updates, and we coordinate the display so it works with nearby lobby branding, directories, and wall graphics rather than feeling added afterward.
