VAN WRAPS OPTIONS

Most service companies in Houston own cargo vans that they use for deliveries or sales/ installation service to their customers. Air conditioning, plumbing, heating and electrical contractors, industrial supply companies, restaurants, distributors etc. all use cargo vans for their day to day work. This makes commercial cargo vans one of the most popular form for advertising. Companies use the blank white space on their fleet to promote their brand and products. Plus vans are not as big as box trucks and therefore much more economical to wrap with graphics. In our years of experience in wrap advertising we have definitely wrapped more vans and pickups than any other type of vehicle.

VAN GRAPHICS LETTERING & WRAP OPTIONS

Any part of a van can be wrapped: the hood, the sides, rear, the front doors, windows, or the entire vehicle. However, the sides of a van or a pickup are flat and therefore the most poplular option for graphics coverage. There are three main graphics options:

BASIC VAN GRAPHICS

It includes company logo, phone numbers, website, and a few bullet points about the company’s products on the vehicles doors. Sometimes the text/ logo design also extend on the side panels and back doors.

Partial Van Wraps

This is an affordable option that covers parts of the van's body with graphics. Because the body is only partially covered, the overall cost of the graphics is much lower than a full wrap. Typical coverage and cost of a partial van wrap is 35% to 70% of a full wrap. The vehicle is covered with a combination of vinyl text, product pictures, logos, striping or a geometrical design to create an appealing theme for the pickup. When designed effectively, this option yields the same results as a full wrap, for just a fraction of a full wrap price.

Full Van Wraps

This option provides complete coverage on the vehicle. The entire sides, front, back and hood of your vehicle are wrapped with full color digital graphics. The windows are also covered with graphics using a perforated material. Thus the entire vehicle acts as a full color billboard. Full Wrap graphics on vehicles provide a great rent-free alternative to billboard advertising. While a highway billboard in Houston may cost $3500 to $6000 a month in rent, van and pickup wraps cost only a one-time small investment that will last for 3 to 4 years without any maintenance.

TRUCK WRAP OPTIONS

Commercial Cargo Vans and Pickups are the most popular form of vehicle graphics advertising. Most service companies in Houston own vans and pickups that they use for deliveries or providing some kind of sales/ installation service to their customers. Pickup Graphics Options

Any part of a van or a pickup can be wrapped: the hood, the doors, the bed sides, rear tailgate, windows or the entire vehicle. However, the sides of a pickup are flat and therefore a more poplular option for graphics coverage. There are three main pickup graphics options available:

Basic Pickup Graphics

This usually includes company logo, phone numbers, website, and a few bullet points about the company’s products on the vehicles doors. Sometimes the text/ logo design also extend on the side panels and back doors.

Partial Truck Wraps

This is an affordable option that covers several part of the pickup body with decals, lettering and product pictures. Because the pickup is only partially covered, the overall cost of the graphics can be much lower than a full wrap. Typical coverage and cost of a partial wrap is 35% to 70% of a full wrap. The vehicle is covered with a combination of vinyl text, product pictures, logos, striping or a geometrical design to create an appealing theme for the pickup. When designed effectively, this option yields the same results as a full wrap, for just a fraction of a full wrap price.

Full Truck Wraps

This option provides complete coverage on the Pickup. The entire sides, front, back and hood of your pickup are wrapped with full color digital graphics. The windows are also covered with graphics using a perforated material. Thus the entire vehicle acts as a full color billboard. Full Wrap graphics on vehicles are very affordable and provide a cost effective, rent-free alternative to billboard advertising. While a highway billboard in Houston may cost $3500 to $6000 a month in rent, pickup wraps cost only a one-time small investment that will last for 3 to 4 years without any maintenance.

TRAILER WRAPS OPTIONS

Trailers provide even larger flat surfaces on their sides than box trucks. These sides can be used for advertising that is very similar to Billboard advertising you see on the side of a road or a highway. Big bold images, vivid full color graphics on trailers captivate the attention of passing vehicles as a trailer is hauled from one location to another.

Trailer Graphics Options

Graphics options for trailers are exactly the same as those for box trucks except the size of graphics is much bigger. There are three main options:

Basic Vinyl Graphics

Some customers want decals on just the cab doors. This usually includes company Logo, phone numbers, website, and a few bullet points about the company’s products on the vehicles doors. Whereas, others want a bit more coverage with graphics on the sides and the rear Double Doors. This is the traditional and most common option for flat surfaced vehicles. Customers like to put their company logo, phone numbers, website, and a few bullet points about the company’s products on the trailer’s sides and the rear doors. The large surface area of the trailers provide a huge billboard opportunity and the cost of advertising is very low because in most cases customers use just one or two colored vinyl lettering, which can easily last up to 7 years.

Partial Trailer Graphics

This is an affordable option that covers some parts of the sides and the back with decals, lettering and product pictures.

Full Trailer Wraps

This option provides complete coverage on the vehicles two sides and the back door. Some customers also opt to cover the small flat portion of the box in the front above the cab. These parts of the trailers are completely wrapped with full color digital graphics. Thus the entire trailer acts as a full color moving billboard. Full Wrap trailer graphics on vehicles are very affordable and provide a cost effective, rent-free alternative to billboard advertising. While a highway billboard in Houston may cost $3500 to $5000 a month in rent, trailer wraps cost only a one-time small investment that will last for 3 to 4 years without any maintenance.

BOX TRUCK VEHICLE WRAP OPTIONS

Because of their huge flat surfaces, Box Trucks provide true billboard advertising. Wraps on these large delivery trucks capture the attention of key customers while they are delivering goods to consumers and businesses. Therefore, companies are increasingly using fleet graphics to maximize their brand impact. With design, print, installation and inventory management capabilities, Saifee Signs can help you achieve your fleet branding needs.

Box Truck Graphics Options

Graphics options for Box Trucks are very similar to those for Vans & Pickups. There are three main options:

Basic Vinyl Graphics

Some customers want decals on just the cab doors. This usually includes company logo, phone numbers, website, and a few bullet points about the company’s products on the vehicles doors. Whereas, others want a bit more coverage with graphics on the sides and the rear Rollup Door. This is the traditional and most common option for flat surfaced vehicles. Customers like to put their company logo, phone numbers, website, and a few bullet points about the company’s products on the box truck’s sides and the rear roll-up door. The large surface area of the trucks provides a huge billboard opportunity and the cost of advertising is very low because in most cases customers use just one or two colored vinyl lettering, which can easily last up to 7 years.

Partial Truck Graphics

This is an affordable option that covers some parts of the sides and the back with decals, lettering and product pictures.

Why Saifee Signs?

Saifee Signs has earned a reputation for delivering second to none vehicle wraps through our commitment to you and your product. We believe in the un-matched advertising potential of your mobile billboard and think of ourselves not only as Texas’ number one fleet graphics design, production and installation facility but also as a huge part of your marketing campaign and public brand image.

To us this is not only a job but a responsibility to give you the best possible product.

What Is A Vehicle Wrap?

A wrap, besides being the single most effective way of advertising your brand, is a wide format digitally printed “sticker” that is methodically applied to the exterior of your vehicle giving the effect that the vehicle has come off the assembly line with a custom paint job that is marketing your brand and message.

In the past, most companies would have cut vinyl lettering applied to a vehicle; however with changing media(s) and printing capabilities what really gains attention in this multi-media world is either full or partial wrap graphics. Cut vinyl lettering alone is no longer as effective of a solution to marketing on a vehicle.

Are Car Wraps Removable or Will it Ruin My Paint?

In our years of experience, car wraps are completely harmless to vehicle paint and will not ruin your OEM manufacturers paint job. In fact, most lease companies prefer that you fully wrap your vehicle as soon as possible because the vehicle wrap protects your paint job from harmful UV rays, pebbles and scratches. You can remove the vehicle wrap on your own, however we do recommend that you have the work done by one of our professionals.

However, if the paint is not an OEM paint or is not in good condition (if it’s peeling, cracking, fading, oxidizing, etc. / is poorly applied / is not a quality automotive paint) then the wrap might not stick very well and it will not last for very long. In such cases when the paint is in poor condition, the vinyl peels off, and it peels the paint beneath it.

How Is Wrapping Applied?

A vehicle wrap is carefully measured and documented at the very beginning of the process to ensure that the custom design/output and application exactly match your vehicle the day it comes in for the installation.

Our craftsman, 3M-trained installation staff will then apply the pressure-sensitive media directly to the vehicle using squeegees and heat to mold the media around contours on the vehicle body. We ensure that no blades touch the paint of your vehicle and also the logos, lettering and imagery match exactly to your approved design.

Do You Offer A Warranty?

Yes! Saifee Signs offers a 4 years 3M MCS material warranties and 1 year labour/installation warranty on all of our car, truck, van and trailer wraps. This warranty will cover any issues that you have that are installation related as well as outline proper procedures to be followed by both customer and installer. Please note that some areas on the vehicle are covered longer than other areas, please contact a Canawrap customer service rep. for details.

We output all of our work on 3M print media and use the corresponding 3M over-laminate in-house. 3M provides extensive support for all of its media. Please follow this link to read more on the 3M media warranty.

How Much Does A Wrap Cost?

Wraps are priced using a combination of square footage, complexity and (if required) design services. An average full wrap on a vehicle can range from $2,000 to $4,500 depending on the amount of square footage and services required.

The vehicle graphics industry is most definitely a “get what you pay for” industry. Saifee Signs is considered a high quality facility that treats every job like it’s the most important job in-house. This is what keeps our customers coming back as well as our gaining NEW customers that have used other wrap companies in the past…a fact that we are very proud of!

Please head over to our QUOTE PAGE to receive pricing on your project!

Why Get A Wrap?

Of course we offer cut lettering or magnets, but these forms of marketing are just falling to the side because the communication potential of a full vehicle wrap is border line untouchable by most other forms of media!

Wrapping IS bang for your buck!

The reason why you look around today and see so many big box retailers, medium sized companies and start-ups wrap their cars, trucks, trailers is because IT WORKS!

Vehicle wrapping has proven to be one of the very best ways to actually see a return on investment!

It is a thin vinyl film that adheres directly to a vehicle, very much like a sticker. This thin vinyl film conforms to the shape of the vehicle and is usually digitally printed with colorful graphics for advertising. When looked upon from a distance, a neat wrap gives the appearance of a quality custom paint job. The advantage is that wraps are a lot less expensive than custom jobs and can be removed very easily without damaging a vehicle surfaces.

Q: Can you see through the windows after the Wrap is applied? A: Yes. Perforated vinyl films called window perforations (or “window perfs”) have little holes in them and allow you to see outside from your car or truck windows. The window perforations can be applied on your back and rear windows on the sides.

Q: Can the driver side and passenger windows be wrapped? A: No. DOT laws do not allow us to wrap these windows.

Q: Do you wrap the roof? A: Yes and No. Yes, we can wrap windows on any vehicle. We wrap roofs for most small vehicles where the roof is visible. However, when it comes to wrapping big vehicles (SUVs, trucks, vans, bobtails), most customers decide not to cover the roof because it does not provide much advertising.

Q: Can unpainted vehicle surfaces like plastic parts and fiberglass bumpers be wrapped? A: Unpainted vehicle surfaces can be wrapped however it is not recommended. Vinyl adhesives do not stick very well to unpainted surfaces and so there is always a chance that the wrap will peel off from these areas.

Q: How is a Car Wrap better than a custom paint job? A: A Car Wrap is better than a paint job in many ways. The biggest advantages are cost savings, speed of production, removability, and better book value for your vehicle.

Car wraps cost a lot less than a custom paint job. Morever, it is a lot easier and faster to produce complex designs. A quality wrap can be designed and applied in less than 2 weeks. Sometimes a VWrap can be completed in just a couple of days.

Car Wraps can be removed easily, without damaging the paint beneath it. Compare against the time and cost of removing a custom paint job. Lastly, VWraps protect the paint from fading. This may result in an increase value for your vehicle when you are ready to sell your car or truck.

Q: Can parts of a van wrap be changed to reflect a new phone number or a new address? A: Yes. If you happen to move and need to change your phone number, website address, or any other information on the wrap, a portion of the VWrap can be reprinted with the new information and applied to your vehicle.

Q: How do I get started? A: A typical vehicle wrapping job involves the following steps

Fill in the vehicle request form: We need information about your vehicle and a rough idea of the design you are looking for. To get an estimate please fill the price quote form by clicking here. We try our best to give you a brisk reply. Design Creation and Approval: Once you accept the quote and a down payment has been received, we create a design for your wrap. If you already have a vehicle wrap design then this step is eliminated. After the design is created a proof is submitted and upon approval the design is sent for digital printing and laminating.

Installation Scheduling: While the wrap is in production, an installation is scheduled for your vehicle.

Installation: Finally, on the day of installation, the VWrap is installed on your vehicle and you are ready to drive your mobile advertisement everywhere you go.*

  • Please note that it is important to do a good car wash your vehicle before the installation day so that it is clean from road grime and dirt. Moreover, your vehicle must not be waxed. Wax creates adhesion problem and therefore vehicle wraps peel off when applied to waxed vehicles. Wax must be completely removed from a vehicle before installation.

Will you design my graphics or do I have to provide my own design?

Believe it or not, Saifee Signs has an entire design department dedicated to working directly with our clients to ensure the graphics for your vehicle come out just right. Our in-house team has worked on countless fleet graphics in the past, ensuring we have the experience you are looking for with the price advantage that you cannot pass up. Our in-house team is happy to work alongside your own design team or advertisement agency to ensure we implement the right concept, a bit of flair, and a graphic that stands out from the rest of the world. Our team will work from scratch to provide a vehicle graphic that really pops out at potential customers who see the vehicle passing along the street. Each and every job sees out design team experts looking over the entire project in an effort to maximize its efficiency. We are good at what we do, too!

Should I prep my vehicle prior to the wrap installation?

At the very least, the exterior of your vehicle should be clean of any dirt or debris that may prevent the adhesive of a vehicle graphic from adhering to the vehicle itself. This is the best way you can prepare your vehicle. Other than that, our in-house installation team works in a climate controlled indoor facility to ensure nothing goes wrong with the application of a vehicle graphic. Temperature control within the facility ensures each and every adhesive we install connects with the material of the vehicle without peeling, cracking, or other fading away too soon after installation. Our installation experts know exactly what they are doing with your vehicle to ensure its safety and the graphic’s continuity.

If you have a need for other graphics being installed in the future, we offer long-term inventory management within our climate controlled warehouse for future installation jobs on your vehicles. Simply let us know what you need and we’ll work with you.
