Elevating Rice University Experience Through Thoughtfully Designed Fleet Wraps And Interior Graphics

OPPORTUNITY

In 2024, Rice University partnered with Saifee Signs & Graphics to support a broader campus rebranding initiative, updating multiple buildings and university vehicles to create a more cohesive and recognizable visual identity.

Spanning a 300-acre campus with more than 70 major buildings, Rice University relies on consistent branding across both its facilities and fleet. Our work helped create a unified identity through the rebranding of multiple campus spaces and university vehicles, strengthening Rice’s presence on campus and throughout Houston.

ACTION

After consulting with Rice University on its branding goals, we developed fleet wraps and interior wall graphics that aligned with its brand identity. Working closely with the University, we refined the colors, layouts, and graphics to ensure a cohesive final result.

For the University’s fleet wraps, Rice chose custom vehicle graphics because they provided the best opportunity to showcase the University's brand with the level of quality and visibility it was looking to achieve. The custom designs transformed the buses into highly visible brand assets throughout campus and the Houston area.

Once the scope was finalized, our in-house teams collaborated to design, produce, and install the project. To maximize efficiency and minimize turnaround time, buses moved through our facility in a continuous cycle, with a new bus arriving as soon as another was completed and returned to service. As the fleet wrap project progressed, our team was also producing and installing wall graphics for a separate department within the University. By managing both projects simultaneously, we kept production moving steadily while meeting the schedules and requirements of each department.

That trust led to opportunities such as interior signage for the Campus Services building and other projects across campus. By consistently delivering high-quality solutions while maintaining Rice University's brand standards, we helped create a more unified visual presence, with the wrapped fleet reinforcing a consistent image throughout campus.
