INSTALLATION PROCEDURE (ONLY FOR SAIFEE SIGNS INTERNAL USE, SHOULD NOT BE ELECTRONICALLY TRANSMITTED OR DISTRIBUTED IN ANY OTHER FORMS)

A. BODY CHECKUP 1) Check for WAX 2) Check PAINT / DENTS i. CHIPPING / CRACKING ii. OXIDATION (especially on box trucks) iii. RUST iv. NON OEM PAINT / RECENT PAINT (45 days outgassing) 3) Notify Customer of problems in written

B. CLEANING 1) Emblem Removal 2) Grime Removal (Yellow Goof / Xyl., check in unnoticeable areas first) 3) General Wash for DIRT 4) 30% Alcohol Wipeoff 5) 3M Chemical cleanup for greasy places: door handles, door edges etc. 6) Remove Lights etc.

C. PREP UP w/ PRIMER 1) Only thin film, 5 mins to 45 mins.
2) Avoid on PAINTED PLASTIC 3) DOOR HANDLES, DOOR EDGES, Some WINDOW PERFS (places where material will be strectched or heavily abused) 4) GROOVES, WHEEL WELLS, BUMPERS 5) Only where needed, extra coverage is not recommended 6) Remove primer and then reapply if new material has to be applied

D. PLANNING 1) Review PAPER LAYOUT 2) Review actual prints while cutting edges on mat-table 3) Decide which parts to wrap first (roofs pref. first) 4) Planned time limit ___ man hours

E. ALIGNMENT 1) ESTABLISH A BASELINE 2) Check for HANDLES / GROOVES / WHEELWELLS etc. cutting off text or graphics 3) Check WINDOW PERFS areas match with windows 4) Horizontal Plane accuracy is more important than Vertical Plane 5) Visual Adjustments will always OVERRIDE (like McCOY and GOLDSTONE doors alignment)

F. APPLICATION 1) Keep PRINTED LAYOUT within EYE-REACH 2) In general, apply AMAP w/o stretch / heat for quick application 3) Bumpers and extraordinary curved surfaces in 2 or more pieces to avoid color fading. Use minimal overlap where possible with PRIMER to concrete

G. TOUCH UP 1) Tuck door edges with velcroed squeegee as soon as the material is applied to avoid dirt buildup. Heat door edges to concrete 2) Seal any weak edges as soon as the material is applied, especially under wheel wells (IHS) & roofs (McCOY)

H. FINAL INSPECTION 1) Alignment 2) Missing dots / commas etc. (spelling / grammar should be checked at the time of graphics approval before production) 3) Check for any other problems 4) Actual time ___ man hours 5) Areas for Improvement:
