Job Post for OUTSIDE Sales Executive

Job Purpose

As an Outside Sales Executive at Saifee Signs & Graphics, develop new business accounts to meet our sales goals in Houston.

Job Duties

  • Generate new business for the organization’s sign services through phone prospecting and field activity
  • Establish, develop and maintain business relationships with new, current and prospective clients
  • Conduct on site surveys, read & understand architectural and structural drawings. Provide pricing and design consultation utilizing our pricing software and procedures
  • Prepare and deliver sales proposals / presentations
  • Follow up with key decision makers and provide status updates to staff and clients. Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports (daily call reports, weekly work plans, monthly and annual sales reports)
  • Resolve client questions or issues by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management
  • Coordinate sales effort with marketing, design, accounting, production, installation team and vendors to meet customer quality and time deadlines

Skills/Qualifications

Must have prior success calling on mid-level managers in small to medium size companies, in a highly competitive market. Must have strong closing skills and will be willing to prospect. Must have good phone skills, exceptional listening skills and above average prolem solving ability. Working knowledge of signs and graphics will be very helpful.

Requirements

  • Full-Time employee with travel requirements within the Local Houston Area
  • Proven 2 yrs min. sales experience
  • Signage, printing, graphics design, interior design or architectural sales background is a plus

Scheduled Work Hours

  • 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday
  • Job may require extended hours to meet client's needs

Salary

Candidates must have prior sales income of at least $60,000
